Previously on Survivor, 21 solid competitors were divided into 3 tribes. Tom Nook: Hello and welcome to Animal Crossing! At Breezy Hollow, the vibes were dope... Bones: Everyone is so nice and I'm having a great time talking to everyone!
Baabara: Everyone seems friendly, everyone seems to have a decent level of competence for the game.
Canberra: This tribe is good vibes omg.
...but Velma was the haute goat. Vladimir: Pink goat Velma clearly tribe leader. Talks 3 time as much as anyone else and have incredible natural charisma.
Shep: I can just tell she's going to be a problem in the long run.
At Saltwater Shores, Genji and Tank were floating to the top... Ankha: I really like Tank and Genji a ton, they have responded the most to me.
Genji: ahhhhhh Tank said we should work together! HELL YES
Kiki: I'm trying to start an alliance with Tank and Genji.
...until Tank landed them in hot water. Tank: Hey it turns out i'm the sloppy fuckup of the tribe, good to know early I suppose
Ankha: not tank sending me the wrong message and genki making an alliance of 3 without me… hehe oops
Hippeux: finding out that Tank, a person I was like "Tank is my #1 so far", was in an alliance that I didn't know about, tanked Tanks trustworthiness with meAt Sunburst Island, not all was sunshine and rainbows... Freya: I like [Mitzi] the best in that she is the least frustrating to talk to. Raymond: Mitzi completely ignored a conversation hook about being a pirate in order to shake me down for idol hunt help, and honestly, she's kind of dead to me right now.
Rooney: Bloody bludgers the lot of them....but the quiet critters might not weather the storm. Mitzi: either Tad or Pietro would be on the chopping block. Flip: Tad and Pietro are potential activity bootsAt the first immunity challenge, Saltwater Shores were a bear down and down-hearted. Bluebear: I'm really sorry guys, I tried to stick it out as long as I could Roscoe: I've gone over it 500 times I don't get what we're missing.Breezy Hollow breezed through... Admiral: I think we need to start with the things that are likely to not fit more than one category
Vladimir: Vladimir think Canberra is on money with Fish suggestion...while Vladimir sunk his teeth into the Golden Watering Can. Tom Nook: The holder of the Golden Watering Can cannot be eliminated from the game unless they have a plurality of organic votes. [It] may be used as a Duel Idol.Sunburst Island had a rocky start... Freya: BAD MODS WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS
Raymond: We lost a word
...but managed to turn the tides... Pietro: Maybe lava is part of things that are hot
Flip: Time for the post-challenge warm-down.
...sending Saltwater Shores to tribal council. Roscoe: The rage in my heart, soul and dick right now is unparalleled.
While Kiki's alliance with Tank and Genji was under fire... Tank: Ankha just wants to be included and I really just want to have the four of us get together and say a name
Ankha: I think the current plan is to bring in Hippo and Roscoe and vote out one of the other 3. Yes it’s messy, but I don’t want to be on the bottom knowingly.
Bluebear: So… let’s talk. Do we vote out one of the “final 3”?
...the vote came down to two outside of it. Bluebear: I felt bad about voting for Roscoe at first, but then it was revealed to me that he was voting for me after telling me he really liked me and would never vote for me.
Roscoe: Are people voting me and told Bluebear to say it's between me and her to throw me off and keep me comfortable so I don't sense anything fishy?
Genji: There just hasn't been as much content from either of them to form as strong of a connection.
But in the end, it was Roscoe who was evicted with 6 votes. 20 are left. Who will be voted out next?

Previously on Survivor, after receiving a vote, Bluebear was fighting to improve her spot on Saltwater Shores. Bluebear: I am doing my best to socialize and get to know everyone. I’m also hoping to contribute a lot, if not the most, in this next challenge to prove the fact that I’m worth keeping around....But shore enough, a next vote on this tribe of 6 could be very rough. Hippeux: Right now there are two alliances ostensibly: Ankha, Myself and BB - Outcasts? Tank, Genji, and Kiki - Core 3.Meanwhile, at Breezy Island, alliances were beginning to take shape. Shep: I have a group PM with Admiral and Canberra and I trust both of them the most.
Vladimir: Vladimir confident because more talkative member of tribe - Velma and Canberra - both make similar comment about silence, and both approach Vladimir about making alliance. However, Canberra and Baabaraa not gelling was making it harder to form a majority. Velma: Shoring things up to get a group of me, vladimir, canberra and HOPEFULLY baarbara.
Canberra: Admiral finally threw out Vladimir who is honestly my #1 on this tribe. But I like Admiral. Can we just do BONES or BAABARA please!
Admiral: I definitely agree that Velma seems to be the nucleus of the tribe. I think if we could get you more connected with Canberra, maybe the 4 of us could work together potentially? At Sunburst Island, the cat fight had blown over... Raymond: Even though Mitzi isn't my favorite person to talk to, she is certainly volunteering idol hunt info to me and Rooney, which is a point in her corner (unless she already has it and is just fucking with us).
Rooney: Mitzi, Raymond and I are pretty tight. We'll stick together....but now the frog was making a splash. Tad: I am getting back into the game and sending out a bunch of mesasges. Probably going to play very fast and loose with this game and make random alliances/weird plays.
Freya: Tad resurfaced, told me he knows he's behind, and wants an alliance with Raymond and I and offered me two of the clues he found to the idol
At the Immunity Challenge, Sunburst Island solved it faster than light. Bluebear: And how tf did they solve them all in 12 minutes?
Pietro: We mesh well and the communication in the challenges is strong.Saltwater Shores were lost at sea and had their second date at Tribal Council. Tank: We might have still lost even if we'd guessed me correctly but it was particularly humiliating to have my own avatar there in the challenge and we didn't once consider itBack at camp, Hippeux was in the hot seat... Tank: After the challenge Kiki posts that we should probably keep Bluebear as they'll be loyal and vote out Hippeux Tank: Bluebear said last night they heard Hippeux and Genji, and was leaning Hippeux...but Kiki was sketching out even her friends with her fervor... Genji: If we don't rock the boat, Kiki is gonna steer us straight into an iceberg.
Hippeux: Right now the plan of the Outcasts is to throw votes on Kiki ...and at Tribal Council, her luck had run out. 19 are left. Who will be voted out next?

Previously on Survivor, the critters were confessing clairvoyantly at Breezy Hollow.
Velma: After 3 single elimination rounds we are at 18. Next round has to either be a double elim (where the mods were fine with a potential 4 person tribal due to low chances of that happening) or a swap.
Shep: I need a swap though because I'm in a very weird spot on this team
The Sunburst Island crew weren't united in their views.
Freya: I think ideally we win out, do a tribe swap, and I have a solid foundation to work with.
Raymond: It would be better to get some pressure off the rest of us and let Breezy Hollow be the big scary 7-stack.
Bluebear, meanwhile, was still struggling to stay afloat at Saltwater Shores. Bluebear: My biggest concern right now is that people are starting to catch on that Ankha and I strongly favor each other, which might make one of us targets for the next TC.
Ankha: I think we'll see Bluebear go after this round if we lose again, then us 4 can move onto a swap pretty strong and with good connections.
Although the Animal Crosskiing challenge was snow problem for Breezy Hollow...
Baabara: Agreed that the advice panels are very effective at teaching how to get a multiplier going
Canberra: what the helll is that score Vladimir ... seems like something a vampire would do.
...it went downhill for Sunburst Island, who would be attending their first Tribal Council.
Genji: Finally, a break from tribal!! Flip: Sunburst Island canonically does not receive snow. We were therefore out of our element of sunshine.
Back at camp, in their downtime, Breezy Hollow were on the hunt...
Vladimir: Vladimir now talk with Velma and Baabara about hidden idol. Come to conclusion that where one alone cannot succeed, many together can - we will launch effort between us to gather all clue together and break in.
...and Vladimir unveiled his second shiny prize.
Tom Nook: You have received an immunity idol! Right now it will last for THREE tribal councils.
Velma: Here was my chance to finally earn the idol and...Vlad got it. Sure we were always going to use it for all of us and even passed it around.
Meanwhile, at Sunburst's camp, the targets were a little lost sheep...
Rooney: Too cool to tryhard the premerge eh Pietro?
Tad: Pietro might be the vote here?
...and a big bad wolf...
Mitzi: Freya is sneaky, and dangerous.
Pietro: I think Freya is smart, but she doesn't have the flavor the others have
...but how many villagers would vote at all?
Tom Nook: [The] Golden Net helps you catch Shard Fireflies. Each Shard Firefly cancels 1 vote against the person it's played on.
Tom Nook: HOW TO CLAIM THIS TREASURE: Once somebody has successfully no-voted twice they will receive the tool. The Golden Net is awarded after the conclusion of the tribal council where they chose not to vote for the second time, and they must therefore also survive the tribal council.
At Tribal Council, one cheeky critter reracked their vote...
Tom Nook: Huh, the urn feels a lot lighter than normal. There must be fewer votes than there should be! Ah well, I'm sure it's fine.
Flip (Voting booth): "I choose not to vote."
...and a colourful character in Pietro was sent packing after casting his vote for Tad. 18 are left. Who will be voted out next?

Previously on Survivor, the 3 pocket camps were swapped into 2 smash stage tribes of 9: Smashville and Tortimer Island. Tom Nook: Congrats to everyone for surviving your first full week of Survivor: Animal Crossing! To celebrate, we've gone ahead and set you all up with some new places to stay! Rooney: Tad and I gonna share notes on who's the bee's knees, who's the duck's nuts, and which ones are the clangers. Flip: Swapping with two thirds of my old tribe feels somewhat dangerous. The others are possibly unlikely to want to give us control over half the votes. At Smashville, Bluebear and Rooney got the jump on uniting their old tribes.
Tank: Man I was really unfair to Bluebear, they seem to have built a great bond with Rooney, which some people might find intimidating but at this stage of the game I'm all for my allies building bonds that help the both of us.
Tank: I messaged Tad saying that Bluebear and Rooney both liked him and I like them so we should work together and he took that as like "this is the four", and said he would propose that four to Rooney. Like I kinda wanted Ankha in there? whatever.
Former Breezy Hollow seemed more divided...
Baabara: Vlad and Admiral have both gone out of their way to say they quite like Rooney. I feel like this is a Canberra situation again, where I'm not getting the right vibes from the most social person on the tribe. I think I struggle to get that genuine feeling that I'm seeking and finding with Ankha and Tank? I can't quite figure out what the problem is. It's got to be a me thing on some level.
Admiral: While I would prefer to not send home someone from breezy, [Bones] has just not been around. It was the same thing even on the old tribe.
...but now possessed two idols between Vladimir and Baabara.
Tom Nook: You have found something! You have received an immunity idol! Right now it will last for THREE tribal councils.
Baabara: I will absolutely take it
Meanwhile, a mixed group formed between Vladimir, Tank and Rooney.
Rooney: Proposed a Vladimir-Tank-Rooney trio to each of Vlad and Tank. Hopefully that demonstrates that tribal lines are in the bin after this TC. Given how weakly Tad is connecting to people across the tribe, I need a plan B, and honestly, it could quickly turn into my plan A.
Tank: Anyway I love these dudes, they're both so cool and also very much my vibe not just in the sense that I like them but I think in that we have similarly playful personalities and chat styles and probably occupy similar spaces in the game.
At Tortimer Island, new pairs were a-blossom like Hippeux and Freya...
Genji: Hippeux told Freya about "the Core 3 alliance" between me, Tank, and Kiki... You like Freya, you probably trust her, but I'm barely getting to know her yet, so I don't trust her. Not with that kind of info!
...and Genji and Raymond.
Raymond: Yep, Genji brought a U-Haul to the third date, #1 located, let's fuckin' go.
Genji: He said he wants to watch a MOVIE with me. Like, I've never had anybody tell me that in Survivor before. I feel so cherished and valued!Velma even beat Mitzi to finding the idol... Velma: I saw the swap announcement and my eyes widen. I smirked, I quickly locked and loaded and hoped that the other tribes hadn't solved it either (after all it took 3 of us to get as far and we still had to brute force it) and they hadn't. I have an idol and it is MY IDOL....but shared the information with her anyway. Velma: Step 1. Hard ally Mitzi and tell her about my idol (we already had some trust and she finished the hunt to get nothing). This has been done. While some old connections were staying stable... Raymond: Seems someone else got to the idol first. That hurts tbh. Mitzi worked so damn hard for this. Hippeux: I think everyone more or less realizes that Hippeux and Genji are a package deal...Flip wasn't ready to be more than friends with Freya. Freya: I've started a flirtmance with Flip for some reason. He's slowly becoming a better friend and maybe we have the spark.
Flip: If people claim I have muscles irl, I just deny deny deny. I obviously can't do that here when I'm all muscle.
Freya: Flip says to me "Oh Shep made a mistake by telling me he's on the bottom of his tribe we should yeet him" WHAT ARE YOU DOING FLIP THIS IS A GOOD THINGAt the Immunity Challenge, Smashville had two sit-outs...
Vladimir: Think is safe to say we sit out Bones? Bones say they be here at 5pm but not specify timezone, and have not been on forum in over 24h...
Ankha: I’d rather make sure everyone participating can fully do it. It sucks I can’t be on my computer right now but this is also the best time for us to succeed.
...but mistakes from Tortimer Island made it a close race.
Hippeux: I feel so bad about automagically being a word in the dictionary. It was just a goofy thing I heard that always makes me laugh.
Velma: Also as a note, do not ask freya to estimate anything.
By one point, Smashville was sent to Tribal Council.
Bluebear: I feel like we all worked together exceptionally well. We may have had a few mishaps, but overall I feel strongly that this tribe will continue to strengthen.
Back at camp, Tad made some sacrifices to nab an item...
Tom Nook: The Golden Shovel gives its owner the power to play disadvantages on other players. To claim the Golden Shovel, post the following in your confessional with the relevant numbers before the end of the current immunity challenge...
Tad: 1. I agree to give up the ability to have an idol played on me 0/1/2/3/4 rounds. 2. Starting at merge I will vote prior to the conclusion of the immunity challenge for 0/1/2/3/4 rounds. 1) 4 2) 3
...and decided to target a new tribemate.
Tom Nook: The wheel has landed on Smug Villager. Choose a player. If they possess a Golden Tool, they may not use it this round.
Tad: Give it to Bones
Though several villagers were overwhelmed by the swap... Rooney: [Admiral] Mate ya making me talk to you about music, 40 minutes before TC deadline? Braaaaave chook
Tad: hey everyone, it's my mom's birthday so not able to get responses out right now!
Bones: Something personal came up and I was upset and wasn't at my home the whole day. I'm going to try and be more active.
Tank: Ankha I think has also maybe not had a huge amount of time for the game?
Baabara: I woke up pretty ill this morning and have been getting lots of rest.
...it was Bones who was unanimously put out to the doghouse.
Tom Nook: The Golden Fishing Rod can be used to send players on a fishing trip...they will not be allowed to vote, be voted for, or talk to players for the last 12 hours of Tribal Council. HOW TO CLAIM THIS TREASURE: Randomize your vote at TWO tribal councils.
Bluebear (Voting booth): Randomizing my vote for chance at the tool
Tom Nook: We have a winner! Bones
Bluebear (Voting booth): HAHA. Amazing
17 are left. Who will be voted out next?

Previously on Survivor, the fiendish frog of Smashville spun some trouble for Shep, a member of the opposing tribe. Tad: Spin the wheel KRONK!
Tom Nook: Cannibal Tossing? Bannable Flossing! For the duration of this Tribal Council you may only communicate in rhyme. This includes both PMs and public posts. Failure to post in rhyme will result in you losing your vote at the next TC you attend. On Tortimer Island, Flip was putting in reps on the idol-hunting machine. Flip: that's the way you're meant to actually brute force things, get a machine to do it for you Flip: For all I know Mitzi's disinterest in it after the swap means she's already gone through the process of brute forcing it open.Velma, who already won the idol race, was still working on her 4-step program... Velma: Step 2. Also ally Raymond and get in a Threesome with Him and Mitzi. Step 3. Make a group of 4 with Me/Mitzi/Genji and Hippeux to have the swings.
Genji: I have been added to an alliance with Mitzi, Velma, and Hippeux. We're calling ourself the Menagerie for now, unless someone comes up with a name we like better. ...and taking aim at the Freya/Flip "flirtmance." Velma: Step 4. Vote out Flip or Freya, something that Hippeux wants and would benefit me, since Shep and Canberra would also be protected.
Mitzi: The vote IF we lose should be Shep. Shep is not connecting to anybody. But Hippeaux is worried about Sunburst Pagonging. And I WANT her to think thats a possiblity, while I downplay it.
Raymond: Truth be told, I have intel that could sink Freya OR Flip, if I choose to parcel it out. And it looks like I'm going to be forced to choose.
At the Immunity Challenge, Tank, Admiral, and Rooney won their trivia 1v1s... Mitzi: I’m still gutted that other wimpy tribe eliminated science, but left pop music… ick. I thought nerd was chic, but obviously not Bluebear: RIP theatre and lit - the only ones I felt confident in D:...but that wasn't enough to keep Smashville from their second date at Tribal Council. Ankha: losing 5 out of 6 times is like horrible
Hippeux: Fucking hell I wish we could go to a tribal
Canberra: I don't think I've ever won the first five challenges before omg...
Back at camp, Baabara spilled the beans on her idol to the whole tribe... Baabara: I expect I'm in consideration for the vote tonight, seeing as I haven't been messaging anyone lately. No hard feelings at all if that's the case, I get it. Shortly after arriving on Smashville, I solved the hidden forum and got an idol. It only lasts for the first three TCs I attend. I'm going to play it tonight, just makes sense. I wanted to post it now to give people as much time as possible to discuss an alternative....leading to a bear-y interesting confession to Tank and Rooney. Vladimir: Vladimir swore secrecy on this but given Baabara claim it outright Vladimir think he can talk about it now. But Vladimir prefer this stay in this group chat. Baabara is telling truth in thread but not whole truth. Vladimir get in slightly before Baabara so Vladimir get Breezy idol. Then we swap and Baabara try posting idol again - and it work, Baabara get Smashville version of idol.
Rooney: Mate ya lying no good mongrel giving me the raw prawn being all like we're close but mate ya really close to someone else and oops guess they're off the table. Rooney's cranky, real cranky.
Tank: ...the way Vlad laid this out was very plausible but I can't discount the possibility that this is also just a really good storyWith Baabara no longer being an easy vote, Tad was in trouble. Rooney: Mate this is like the stages of grief.
Tad: Tadmoment.gif. rooney do i blow up my game yes or noHe made an announcement of his own... Tad: this worked for baabara so let's see if it works for me. I have the silver watering can. silver tools are weaker copies of the original tools, so this just doesn't have the passive effect but i can still play it and cause a duel. Honestly, I thought this would be an easy Baabara vote so I randomized my vote to try and get an actual golden item and my vote will be on Admiral tonight. whatever happens happens, it's been a fun round anyways, but just want everyone to be aware what's happening....and kept fighting to stay. Tad: all i ask is that you still vote admiral, i feel like there is a small possibility someone decided to randomize their vote or withhold their vote and i feel like that's the only thing that can save me here.
Baabara: I don't think I have the means to do it on my own (even though working with Tad sounds quite fun right now)
After admitting to not connecting initially, two critters started to find common ground.
Baabara: I really appreciate the oppenness, a lot. About me, about Tad, about the whole situation. You didn't have to tell me all of that, but it feels good that you did. Rooney: I ain't no telling no lie, that's the most thought-out, thought-provoking, just-plaint nicest message I've gotten all game.
At Tribal Council, Baabara didn't risk it...
Tom Nook: Baabara has played a hidden immunity idol! Any votes cast for Baabara will not count
...and Bluebear randomized her vote again... Tom Nook: You have won the Golden Fishing Rod! The Golden Fishing Rod can be used to send players on a fishing trip. No player may be sent on a fishing trip more than once. This item can only be used once per round....resulting in this season's first non-unanimous vote. Admiral and Rooney got one vote each, but it was Tad who was swept away with his shovel. 16 are left. Who will be voted out next?

Previously on Survivor, critters were complaining about a lack of action... Bluebear: I'm still finding it surprising how little this tribe communicates... In the group message with myself, Ankha, and Tank, we have all sent a message something along the lines of, "Hey, I haven't gotten any messages back today. You guys too?" Because we are all so self conscious about the lack of messages!
Raymond: Feels like everyone, myself included, is just taking a nap at this point....but for some, it would prove to be the calm before the storm. Tom Nook: AaaaaaaaaaaaaaAt the Immunity Challenge, players had the chance to chat 1-on-1 with an opposing tribe member...
Hippeux: I told Rooney via PM that pretty much I was going to throw the comp to him to win and that I didn't mind going to tribal. I felt like a got a decent sense of what has happened over on the other tribe, it sounds awful and I'm sad they are having to deal with everything.
Mitzi: Ankha thinks they are safe, but they are in enough chaos to not totally be sure. So knowing that, and also knowing that Ankha was a friend of Hippeux's, I am considering ceding my point to them.
...and it looked like Smashville were finally catching a break...
Vladimir: Intuitive play is to take every possible box in chain. But Rooney strategy is better Freya: This is not my game. I did not see those last several moves and tied after having a guaranteed win aye eye yeuh ...until the challenge had to be replaced. Tom Nook: Well, that Dots and Boxes thing really sucked. To commemorate a bugged website ruining an entire day for us, we are going to be playing another game involving bugs!In the new challenge, Tortimer Island were reluctant to step up to face Vlad, Baabara and Tank...
Flip: I have attempted to learn this game previously and have completed failed in doing so.
Shep: I watched a couple of the videos but couldn't find somewhere to practice that would work for me, definitely would prefer to sit out.
...but it was Smashville returning to a third tribal council after a 2-1 loss. Velma: I could have thrown. It was probably better for me to throw, or even better, just lose organically. But I couldn't just do that, what have I done.
Raymond: burning some prayer eucalyptus for rooney tonight. really need him to live here. i wish i had played in this and thrown it.
Nintendo Switch: Tribal sucks, and being at tribal a lot sucks worse. How are you all feeling tonight? Would you like a hug and a cookie?
At Tortimer Island's camp, Freya's stocks were falling... Mitzi: Freya and I get along, but there's something about her that makes me think she is bloodthirsty and will attempt to stab anyone she can.
Canberra: I guess the ONLY interesting thing I could bring up is Hippeux mentioned being frustrated by Freya in the trivia challenge or something & kiiiind of was hinting at her name for a 2nd boot?
...but Genji was thinking critically of his fellow Menagerie mammals. Genji: does this mean I should keep Hippeux around because he trusts me, and take him out after merge... or do I cut him out before merge [...] because I don't trust the way he keeps forming bonds with other people, and I don't want those other people to put me and my actual close allies at risk??
Genji: Is Ms. Calm and Collected Sweet as Apple Pie Mitzi actually a mastermind?
Genji: DUDE I FORGOT SOMEONE ON TORTIMER HAS THE IDOL. Mitzi found it missing, and it's not her that has it. Whoooooo's got it? ...Leaning toward Velma.
Back at Smashville's camp, Bluebear targeted Rooney to protect Admiral...
Admiral: We just keep losing and losing. I'm enjoying getting to know everyone chatting about board games and video games and stuff and musical theater (with bluebear specifically). I've heard my name and Rooney's name so far. I don't want to go home yet.
Ankha: BLuebear wanted Rooney to go over Admiral because Admiral/BLuebear have a connection. If Admiral wasn't an option, the ONLY other option for me is Rooney because I am trying to be aligned with everyone else.
...but when Baabara and Tank let Rooney know his name was coming up...
Tank: I told Rooney that Ankha and Bluebear were pushing his name to start and that Baabara and I kind of shut it down. That is definitely the kind of thing that could bite me in the ass, maybe even this round.
Baabara: It's strange to me how willing people actually are to vote Rooney here. It's like Vlad and I are actually the most willing to keep Rooney alive at Admiral's expense here!
...Rooney confronting Ankha caused an avalanche of drama. Rooney: Mate eff this I got totally snowed under the last 48 hours with moving home and now me name’s out there. Effing ropeable! I’m hearing Ankha’s a snake, Bluey’s a snake, admiral is about as close as someone I was just targetting could be… so it’s down to the wire mate.
Ankha: Bluebear got fucking played, Tank threw me under the bus for some reason, Bluebear or myself are probably going here. And now Bluebear just APOLOGIZED to me because she "FORGOT" she told Baabara. YOU GOT. FUCKING PLAYED. AND NOW YOU'RE GOING HOME.
Bluebear: Sooo yea I fucked up and jumped to conclusions (unless I’m still being played) and I might be going home because of it. Honestly, the game is what it is, I just sincerely hope I can fix what I screwed up.
Tank: Oh man I really really cannot trust Rooney in the fucking slightest, he told Ankha literally everything I told him. At least I know what kind of player he is now. Baabara: This tribal is absolutely hilarious. I'm pretty sure Vlad and I are the only spotless ones at the minute. Everyone else is losing their god damm minds it seems.
As one of two critters stuck in the middle, Vladimir was looking for unity...
Vladimir: Tank now very annoy with Rooney, Ankha annoy with Tank, Bluebear annoy with Tank but want Rooney out? But everyone coming to Vlad and Baabara to make case and say they go with our decision. Is weird spot. Tribe chaos like this really, really bad right prior to swap. Vladimir want to go route that put many people on same page and rebuild bond.
...but Baabara was finally fed up.
Baabara: This is unironically making me want to work with Tank and Ankha a lot less - not at all because they're blocking a Bluebear vote or anything, but because they are just insanely passive. They're showing no willingness to commit to anything at all or risk disappointing anyone. How's that going to work as we get further in the game? [...] Let Smashville burn down mate, it's not gonna stop me. I'll make new friends.
Admiral shopped an Ankha vote...
Admiral: I'm hoping to try to flip some things around and save myself. If I can get Vlad, Baabara, and Rooney to vote Ankha with me, we could save both me and Rooney
...but didn't trust he had the numbers and vented to the other tribe via the Bulletin Board.
Admiral: If a Tree Falls in the Forest... And no one's around at less than hour to deadline, does it mean that the vote is already decided and you're the target?
Canberra:
At Tribal Council, Vladimir played his expiring idol for a friend...
Tom Nook: Vladimir has played a hidden immunity idol on Rooney! Any votes cast for Rooney will not count.
...and Smashville managed to team up against their former trivia captain Admiral. 15 are left. Who will be voted out next?

Previously on Survivor, Tortimer Island's two quietest villagers were both starting a new character arc. Canberra: I WILL BE A POWER PLAYER.
Shep: I’m loyal, I want to play!
Genji: You said you have ideas. I’d love to hear them. And you say you want to play. So show me. Show the tribe. Play. You’re going to have to, because you’ll have to show that A) it’s better to keep you around than to not to and/or B) that’s it’s better to target somebody ELSE besides you.
Canberra: WELL shep has awakened apparently and he says i'm the only person he trusts. which is weird since we're like two low hanging fruits he could easily push things onto me. but shep WANTS velma out and is pushing velma or flip to mitzi. At the Immunity Challenge, the two tribes allocated their 6 participants differently. Hippeux: I agree that 2/2/2 is probably the best
Baabara: I think the alphabet challenge setup makes it very high-variance. 'How many X can you think of in order in a short time' is bound to look very different depending on the weather and the alignment of the planets. So I would get behind 1-1-4 or 1-2-3Although Vladimir conquered the Jigsaw Planet, the rest of his tribe were no match for Mitzi's crosswording and Shep's headgear recollection... Tank: Okay I just want to come back to this, I don't think I could name 21 hats if you gave me half an hour, what's your secret, Shep?
Shep: I just love hats
...and so it was back to Tribal Council for Smashville for the fourth straight time. Ankha: imagine playing this game for 7 rounds and not going to a single tribal council. like what do you do? What content is in your confessionals? Canberra: my confessional is full of baby names and koala strategy. While Bluebear's former Saltwater Shores allies encouraged her to use her fishing rod to send Vladimir away, ostensibly giving them a majority of the remaining votes...
Bluebear: They (Ankha and Tank) tried to convince me to use it on Vlad, who is the only other one on this tribe who I feel would remain loyal to me if my name were getting thrown out there. If he were out of the mix, I felt they might turn the tribe against me to vote me out. Even if I keep up appearances, our alliance is essentially over.
...she didn't trust them and went on the trip herself. Tom Nook: A player is being sent on a fishing trip! Bluebear may not vote, be voted for, or talk for the last 12 hours before deadline.
Vladimir: Vlad actually think they intended to pick off Rooney or Baabara, so very glad Bluebear not listen.
Tank: On a positive note, Ankha was on board with blindsiding Bluebear here, which was kind of my preference, but the bad part is Bluebear used the rod on herself, smartly.
Baabara: The Bluebear Fishing Rod Fiasco is hilarious, well played to her [...] But the problem is, either of them could have avoided the exact situation they're in right now, by... voting Bluebear last round instead of Admiral. But they didn't want to do that.
With Bluebear away, Ankha asked her other tribemates to vote out Tank...
Ankha: I really look at this vote as 4 players who all have similar mindsets on how we want to attack the rest of this game. I think we all can be a huge force in this game, from 3 different tribes, and proven to be loyal and trustworthy over and over.
...and while Baabara was in favor...
Baabara: Her loyalty seems self-serving, and I think she almost convinces herself that her self-interest is just on some moral grounds... But I think I want her around. [...] She might also be the key to making more new friends I haven't met yet. I also just really enjoy her vibe personally.
...Tank hoped for the support of his "Smoothie" alliance with Vladimir and Rooney.
Vladimir: Vlad is closer to Tank, much much closer. Having three person group chat with him and Rooney, have been work with him since start of tribe, and hell, he is sole person Vladimir trusted with information about watering can. He feel like strategic solid person who Vlad can trust, and Vlad really like him.
Tank: Okay Rooney did say he wants to keep me but I think wants to ensure Baabara isn’t too burned by not getting her way
In the end, Smashville voted out a huge presence in Tank. 14 are left. Who will be voted out next?

Previously on Survivor, the villagers swapped into two retailer tribes: Able Sisters and Nookling Junction. At the Nookling Junction camp, the former Smashville-agers were welcomed in.... Freya: First, I try to swoop in on Anhka and Baabara. I need to diversify my connections. I think I have been moderately successful with Anhka. I went the emotional route, talking about how bad I feel about her experiences and "accidentally" revealing that I had already decided I wouldn't target them because they need a break. This is sincere even if I am also using it strategically to develop a relationship.
Canberra: Working to get me, Mitzi, Baabara and Ankha together...hehe
Mitzi: I think I can win Baabara and Ankha! Ankha was friends with Hipp, so I will use that. If Baab was friends with Rooney, I can use that. Then I need to decide whether I bring in Canberra or Genji.
Baabara: An alliance is being made between me/Ankha/Mitzi/Canberra. It's a very natural, boring alliance to form on this tribe, but there's very little else that would make sense with the people on this tribe. Ankha/Mitzi/Canberra are social in the same way and there's basically no way they'd wind up doing anything else, and I'm not going to miss out on that if I can help it....and Genji got the scoop on the severing of the Saltwater Shores alliance. Ankha: It was just nuts because I never expected anything like that from them. We still voted together but then the next round, Bluebear played her fishing rod (she got it from randomly voting twice on Smashville), but we begged her not to use it because it basically just made it so the only true options to go were me or Tank.
Genji: I have to tip my hat in respect at Bluebear, but damn, girl. And unless I’m missing crucial info, Ankha didn’t deserve that, and Tank didn’t deserve it either. Am I biased? Yes! I have every right to be.
At the Able Sisters camp, several duos were reuniting... Bluebear: YESSS. This is best case scenario swap for me!!!
Velma: And then there's potential pairs of Rooney - Raymond, Hippeux - Bluebear, Vlad - Me. Rooney: Raymond and I are already back to where we were before the first swap. The biggest risks are a) taking that for granted and letting it fade, and b) letting it slip to others too much and having it become a threat. ...Shep was targeting Velma... Shep: I'd love to take out Velma if we do lose tho and if she has an idol, I just go as collateral
Raymond: I think he is wrong to blame Velma, but I ain't gonna volunteer that. If an opportunity to get rid of Velma were to arise, I would be a little tempted. We'll see how she performs here though....and Rooney and Vladimir remained wary of Bluebear. Vladimir: And Bluebear/Rooney both seem to still be in good term with Vladimir although unsure about blue bear. Rooney also bit unsure about blue bear.At the Immunity Challenge, the Able Sisters collaborated cohesively... Vladimir: wait they destroy grape??? Vlad thinking keep this was only way they winning
Velma: Rainer is +7 for us, Anjou is -13 for them cause we can't block it if they take clingstone.
...while the Nookling Junction came underprepared and struggled to agree on their strategy...
Genji: Like, dude, I don't even know what you're talking about, take it down a notch. You're the one who missed an important detail in the rules, not us.
Flip: Like I know I can't actually complain about my tribes mistakes. I made them as well....resulting in them attending the swap's first tribal. Freya: Anhka is cursed
Hippeux: Is it too much to ask to lose one goddamn challenge?
Back at camp, the main names in the conversation were Flip, Baabara and Canberra... Canberra: 2mins into my first tribal and flip is saying my name. I PROMISE YOU ARE GOING HOME
Mitzi: Canberra, Baabara and I are locked in on Operation Harpoon Monkey.
Freya: I hope Baabara doesn't log in so that we can continue to sell her as the vote.
...but the prizes up for grabs complicated matters. Tom Nook: The Golden Slingshot gives its owner the power to cast an additional vote for each Tribal Council they attend. The vote, however, must be cast before the conclusion of the immunity challenge. To claim the Golden Slingshot you must add penalty votes against yourself into the urn. When you go up to vote you will still get your original vote but you may also add extra votes against yourself. The first person to successfully cast 3 votes against themselves, and survive, will receive the Golden Slingshot after the conclusion of Tribal Council.
Mitzi: IF I get confirmation of what Genji is doing, and it's Flip - I'm probably going to risk throwing 2 votes against myself - or even 3 if I feel brave.
Genji: I was considering putting down an extra vote for the Slingshot... but what if Freya and Flip put down my name? I've got to risk something in this game, right? I can't win if I don't risk SOMETHING.
At Tribal Council, nothing obvious was amiss with the votes... Flip (Voting Booth): "I choose not to vote." Also apply one penalty self-vote on myself.
Freya (Voting Booth): I vote....Canberra. Sorry girl, this will give you more time with the baby. I just don't see how you fit into my plans and saving you requires burning bridges I don't want to burn. I really did enjoy playing you!
...and in the end, Flip was blindsided 6-1. 13 are left. Who will be voted out next?

Previously on Survivor, at Able Sisters, the majority of the tribe hadn't been to at least the past 5 Tribal Councils and were planning accordingly...
Raymond: This thought prompted me to speed up my timeline on a Vlad/Rooney alliance. Look at me, jury, I'm doing stuff! Velma at least has a great narrative about being the reason we won all those challenges. Forming a secret alliance with Genji is like, LITERALLY the only thing I have done in this game.
Hippeux: I'm worried that if Shep makes it to the merge (which seems pretty likely) that if you [Velma] are not immune at the merge you are going to go. I just want you to be careful should we merge tonight after this tribal.
At Nookling Junction, Freya was feeling insecure after being blindsided.
Freya: GAH I am so frustrated because I would have just voted Flip. But they know that. I'm going to get excuses tonight but I was just set up as the next boot.
Raymond: Pretty sure Freya is trying to signal to me that she's toast over there, which makes a lot of sense with the result. I would certainly rather lose Shep than her.
Genji: Freya's willing to work with me again. She definitely trusts Ankha more than me right now, and that's fair. Ankha was there to support her last night when I wasn't. But I showed up today, and she says that's what matters.
Freya: Shifting the target to either Mitzi or Canberra is my best bet.
Mitzi: Either they opt to keep me or they don't, and I went from having strong relationships to take me through the merge, to probably not making the merge. Ooof.
At the Immunity Challenge, Nookling Junction once again couldn't outdo the Able Sisters.
Rooney: My tip for anagrams - use pen and paper, put the letters in a big circle in random order. The non-linear presentation can help the brain identify new words without being constantly distracted re-identifying the word you started with.
Freya: Without the missed letter we would have won :cries: We all missed it, it's no ones fault, girls you did great.
Back at camp, Baabara apologized for her lack of communication...
Baabara: If I were in your positions, I'd think the level at which I've been absent would make me unreliable and would warrant a vote-out. And I'd feel a bit guilty and also a pretty big sense of impostor syndrome getting, like, far into this game having missed whole chunks of it like this.
Ankha: Baabara hasn’t messaged me back in 3 days now.
Freya: Certainly everyone is telling me let's vote Baabara because she's not here. Ankha made it clear it needs to be my idea. Is this the real plan?
...but Mitzi in particular worried the bridge with Freya was fully burnt.
Mitzi: Truth is, i still want to vote Freya. [...] I agree that isn’t a great thing to do, but unless she quits its also unfair to ask me to not deal with a threat to my own existence if I can.
Canberra: do I think Freya will be a stone in my shoe come merge? yes.
At Tribal Council, Genji took three self-votes in exchange for a prize...
Tom Nook: The Golden Slingshot gives its owner the power to cast an additional vote for each Tribal Council they attend. The vote, however, must be cast before the conclusion of the immunity challenge.
...and Baabara was evicted from Nookling Junction. 12 are left. Who will be voted out next?

Previously on Survivor, in the aftermath of Tribal Council, Genji got attention for the slingshot power-grab...
Mitzi: Well my allies convinced me not to go with the tool, but Genji went for it and got it. But heres the kicker, he doesn’t know Ankha, Canberra and I are aligned. If we lose, Genji may have prevoted. He has to have to survive i think. If he says he doesn’t, we have to vote him. If he says he has prevoted, we might have to try to convince him to flip vote.
...Mitzi's allies were starting to question her judgment...
Canberra: Mitzi has pledged she's my #1 but is a little messier like how she wanted to take out Freya despite Baabara basically soft quitting <3
Ankha: Mitzi is so selfish for even suggesting voting out Freya
...and Baabara's elimination got big reactions from the other tribe.
Rooney: I am soooooo bummed that we didn't get to kick off where we left off in our conversations. They were epic. Alas. Given Ankha and you went into the tribe so strong together... what the hell happened?!? Hopefully an ally lives long enough to tell the tale.
Velma: Mitzi, Ankha, Freya, Genji and Canberra, an investigation into your guilt in eliminating Baabara will be conducted, pray you are not found guilty. My vengeance will not be swift or obvious, but it will be final.
At the Immunity Challenge, Hippeux and Raymond from Able Sisters really weren't fussed about winning their 1v1s...
Hippeux: I'm going to submit my 2nd best score, something decent so it looks like I tried, but not good enough aww shucks that sucks!
Raymond: I got a score that seems pretty good farily quickly so I've decided to just submit that and call that throwing.
...but Ankha was the only Nookling Junction villager to beat her opponent, meaning it was back to tribal again.
Rooney: Maaaate I feel sorry for the other tribe. I won’t say it in the challenge thread coz I’ll get me head bitten off, but yeah, ouch. I still prefer this outcome though! Amazing result!
Freya: Are you kidding? The highest score ever and it blows the archived challenge winners out of the water. I beat two previous winning scores and it did not matter!
Genji: Vladimir, you couldn't have been less awesome for ONE DAY?
Vladimir: You messing with bear, you getting the horns
Back at camp, Ankha made a plea to stay, with this being her 9th premerge tribal council attended out of 10...
Ankha: I desperately want to be here. I’ve played so much of this game just fighting for my life, and I really want to at least make the merge. I feel so defeated but to get this far and get voted out now would be so disappointing. I’d love to be here and play with all of you.
Canberra: ankha has been through more than any US marine
...but she actually appeared to be positioned as a swing vote.
Freya: The big thing to wtach for tonight is if my alliance with Genji and Ankha is real or not. If it is, the vote is between Mitzi and Canberra. If it's not real than my game is already over.
Genji: At the moment, I know I'm less connected to Canberra, so maybe that's the vote. She's been mentioned in previous tribals before. But... we also saved her, and she wants to honor that. So maybe we keep her. Mitzi is someone we all know is a threat, right? But is she a threat we murder now or a threat we murder later because she can help us now? Freya just got people on her side again, and I'd hate to turn on her again so quickly, and I don't think that's in my best interest.
Canberra: I do feel now as if we lost the only person I could vote for is Freya. We have talked it out a bit and mended things, there's no bad blood or fur I hope but the other three of you stuck out your necks for me when Flip/Freya were saying my name and I couldn't bring myself to vote any of you after that. I want to work with you guys longterm once we merge even if there's a numbers disadvantage
Mitzi: I have decided to vote you [Freya], and it is with really a sinking feeling. I dont think this is over, and you could yet swing the others, Ankha specifically. Im hoping you do. I love all the remaining people on our tribe, and i hate how this has ended up. [...] I’m in a no win position with this vote, and if you manage to stay, id be proud to be in merge with you.
At Tribal Council, no slingshot votes came into play...and in a 3-2 vote, it was the magnificent Mitzi who was evicted.
Mitzi: Well played. GOod luck all. Rooting for you all!
Canberra: I am not mad we NEED to make final four. Life is all about division...when we could try and be united. woah. deep (two bottles of wine deep). But Mitzi thank you so much for everything I'm sorry you got blindsided <3
Genji: You were a hell of a player, Mitzi. We’ll miss you. And Canberra, I love you.
Freya: If there's not a merge I will burn this forum down
11 are left. Who will be voted out next?

Previously on Survivor, the villagers made the merge milestone... Bluebear: GUYS TAYLOR SWIFT ANNOUNCED HER NEXT STUDIO ALBUM TONIGHT!!! OH, i guess merge happened too. hehe. So far all of the Saltwater peeps seem eager to work together, which is good. I wasn't sure if there would still be bad blood between Ankha and me but we are okay (for now). Freya and Canberra are the only new players I hadn't met and they both seem cool so far!
Genji: OH MY GOD I GOT MY FIRST MESSAGE FROM VLADIMIR
Freya: For now my plan is to just try and blend in socially. Boring, but it is what I need coming into the merge.
Velma: I have an idol that's good for 3 rounds and we've been merged for 20 minutes and the only message I've gotten is Ray going he's "too high for this". I suppose my old tribes both still have numbers, but if Mitzi got booted uh... not sure how much stock I can put in that.
...and Shep seemed to need immunity much more than the others. Hippeux: The scuttlebutt I'm hearing right now is that the anti-Shep propaganda has been going on both tribes and while I feel terrible for Shep (because he is a nice dog) it's good for me because it sort of helps funnel people one particular direction for the merge vote.
Freya: ...he's a good scapegoat for the tribe right now as half of us are frustrated by all the TCs we did this game and he attended none. Plus if Shep gets past this point in the game then he becomes an attractive goat for FTC and that's one less spot for me.
Shep: I know I'm dead here, but I will be fighting my off to stay. I think it's a huge mistake for a bunch of people to let me die easily. Canberra is my girl, but I think Velma and Vlad would be making a huge mistake to just let me go. Just need two more.
At the Immunity Challenge, Raymond garden puzzled faster than Vladimir and the rest, earning a more powerful version of individual immunity than usual. Tom Nook: This game will have the Golden Immunity Necklace! If this is confusing, honestly the best way to think about it is to pretend that there is NO individual immunity at all, but there will be a person that you 100% know is playing an idol that round. If they don't specify anything to the mods then it will be autoplayed on themselves, but they can play it on other people if they want.
Raymond: I am, in general, willing to use the necklace on Genji if he needs it. Potentially Rooney or Vlad too. At the moment, I think this is going to be a very easy vote so I won't need to worry about it. I think the golden necklace twist is quite interesting, by the way. I hope Genji or I get to dramatically save the other. It really increases the value of winning immunity, which is I think much needed.
Hippeux: Raymond winning was about the best outcome a person could ask for short of me winning...Raymond is self serving so I don't have to worry about him suddenly handing the necklace over to Shep and then bouncing say like Velma or Ankha with a singular vote.
In the optional challenge, Ankha's risk in competing for the Golden Wand paid off... Ankha: GOING FOR IT!!!
Tom Nook: The Golden Wand has the ability to mimic each of the previous tools once. The player that claims the Golden Wand may choose one other treasure's ability at the start of each round (so, immediately after Tribal Council). Each ability may only be used one time....leaving Velma with all the consequences. Tom Nook: IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE FASTEST TIME, YOU ARE PERMANENTLY INELIGIBLE TO HAVE THE GOLDEN IMMUNITY NECKLACE GIVEN TO YOU!
Velma: It was worth the risk but damn
Genji: Some motherfucker got the Golden Wand. I wonder if anybody lost their future immunity over it.... The chaotic part of me hopes so.
Back at camp, with a front-runner for the votes already established, some players were looking to an uncertain future...
Raymond: Next round is going to be a challenge for me. Ideally I'd drop Freya or Ankha first, but that's exacxtly who Genji is with so I can't just go around chucking them off the face of the earth and expect him to not mind.
Velma: 10 and 9 will not be easy votes. I have an idol for one of them but really want an immunity for the other. Immunity at 10 is a free birth to 8, No immunity at 10 is a potential mess
...and while Hippeux seemed to be in a strong position...
Hippeux: Like literally everyone in this game has been like "Hippeux, I like you, lets work together." This merge is also truly fucking unique for me in that I have met everyone still in the game prior to being here. [...] I have what I consider 3 meat shields. I have Ankha, Velma and Vlad, I think as long as at least one of them is in I'm invisible. I feel like the only thing thats going to go wrong for me is if all 3 of them are gone and then suddenly people are like "Damn we all like Hippeux what the fuck???"
...it wasn't going without notice.
Rooney: Okay, so what is the widest network that doesn't involve me? Hippeux has Ankha, Canberra, Genji, Bluebear and Velma. He could control the tribe right now if he wanted. I should plant suspicion toward that group and/or try to pry people away from it.
Velma: Sidenote. Back on tribe 2 Hippeux was "really tight with Genji" then Hippeux was "really tight with Bluebear" but now all of a sudden his favorite original tribe member is Ankha. Hippeux will lie to me if he thinks it improves his position, play carfully.
Vladimir: Question for Velma, where are you seeing Hippeux in game moving forward? Is person Vladimir would like to be working with but set of Hippeux friends and set of Vladimir friends feel like they have a lot of exclusive persons. Hippeux being much closer to Bluebear, Genji, maybe Ankha? Where Vladimir is close to Rooney and Canberra. Vladimir is bit worried about original saltwater tribe because they are having two powerful gold items between them (Bluebear with rod, Genji with slingshot) and are all quite close, and the ones on other tribe - Ankha and Genji - have shown readiness to make big move with Mitzi murder. Vladimir feel like pink goat and pink bear will be prime 'big move' target because we both being quite visible in game.
Canberra was making headway with allies...
Rooney: Canberra really is a pivotal player here; an important number it seems, to a number of sides that could potentially form.
Freya: Apparently Rooney and Bluebear don't like each other but neither have mentioned it. This is something random Canberra picked up. I wasn't sold on Canberra as an ally but if she can find random stuff like this that's great. We are agreeing to being close allies who pretend to not trust one another and this is good for me for now. I...think I trust Canberra.
...but was impacted by bad news outside of the game.
Canberra: Hi I don't want to dampen the mood or anything but I just got bad news one of my relatives is in the hospital I don't know if I'm gonna be at top responding pace or maybe I'll PM more to take my mind off things bear with me though <3
At Tribal Council, Raymond and Freya chose not to vote... Tom Nook: Once somebody has successfully no-voted twice they will receive the tool. The Golden Net is awarded after the conclusion of the tribal council where they chose not to vote for the second time, and they must therefore also survive the tribal council. If two players reach this feat at the same time, there will be a blind tiebreaker challenge.
...but it was still Shep who was voted out and became the first member of the jury. 10 are left. Who will be voted out next?

Previously on Survivor, Canberra unfortunately had to medevac and became the second juror.
Canberra: Good luck guys ❤️ Mitzi I’m sorry I couldn’t win for you!!!
Freya: May your eyes get some rest girl!
Genji and Raymond were getting deep with their friendship.
Raymond: I hope that at least some part of you knows that you don't have to prove anything in order to be a cool, impressive, smart person. You have inherent value as a person, in addition to your assets and attributes.
Genji: Like, I know that for other people, but god, is it hard to apply that to myself. And to have someone I genuinely feel connected to SEE ME and VALUE ME just because I'm.... me? That is literally the best feeling in the world. I don't have to do anything extraordinary or amazing, I don't have to be perfect, I don't have to be the smallest burden possible and take care of everybody else in order to have value, I just get to exist, and I'm enough. *brb sobbing*
At the Immunity Challenge, Rooney out-mapped Freya and the others.
Rooney: Like it sounds like Freya almost pipped me but had to submit a correction. More geography challenges pls, they tend to be up me alley! Meanwhile I will accept nothing less than three chillis this vote. Make it spicy or go home!!
Back at camp, an item was used to send Vladimir on a fishing trip...
Tom Nook: Vladimir may not vote, be voted for, or talk for the last 12 hours before deadline.
...and two main theories emerged about the cause.
Bluebear: ALSO several people messaged me asking me why I used my fishing rod on Vlad and I had to explain that it wasn't me... GAH.
Genji: Did Vlad protect himself from tribal with the WAND? Seems pretty likely... But I thought, with the wording of he's going on a fishing trip, that meant Bluebear used the rod against him. She didn't say that, though, did she? Hm.
All the speculation was even affecting the trust between the former Smashville sworn allies Vladimir and Rooney...
Rooney: Mate ya sellin' me the raw prawn 'ere. Ya want out of TC 'cause it's the first spicy vote since merge and ya know it.
Vladimir: Say Rooney won the wand. Rooney knowing that Vladimir theory is that Saltwater plan to fishrod someone out and use slingshot to gain majority, because Canberra medevac gives them this. So Rooney knowing that if he fishrods Vladimir out, Vladimir will be suspecting Bluebear of doing this. And from other perspective, Rooney see Vladimir online at deadline, and know that Vladimir is strong challenge competitor. So is knowing that majority of player will think that Vladimir fishrod self using wand Vladimir won. It is very neat plan, yes? Rooney has a lot to gain by doing this in this hypothetical scenario.
...but the real mastermind was Ankha.
Ankha: I used the fishing rod first because I knew that people would blame Bluebear for it. [...] Once Canberra left I knew that I could pull Vladimir and make it look like he has the wand, causing his threat level to go up + make it so there are still 4 SS people in the game, making it less likely they vote for me. I couldn't send Bluebear or Genji despite them being targets for that reason.
With 8 TC participants left and no clear lines drawn from last TC, Hippeux proposed a voting bloc of 5...
Raymond: I guess I'm in a group chat with Ankha/Hip/Velma/Rooney. I hate this group and will backstab them, oh, probably like next round.
Rooney: Mate if Hip and Ankha are closer to each other than the rest of the ex-Salties, then that puts that fear to bed. Now, what would they do if we pushed Genji or Bluey? Chuck a nervy or roll with it?
...and it looked like they could compromise on Bluebear.
Raymond: Honestly, Vladimir's departure has me looking real askance at that Fishing Rod. That thing is strong, and I'm not sure I want it in hands that aren't here. I like talking to BB, but I have not succeeded in getting her to open up strategically, so I don't enjoy doing it but that looks like the best option to me right now.
Hippeux: I'm sort of mentally prepping myself right now to be offering up Bluebear as a sacrifice.
Velma: I am getting a consistent story. That story is just vote Bluebear. Granted I did mention the idea first to Hippeux. It makes me feel bad. To be clear, I do not want Bluebear, I want Genji. Genji is close with Ankha, Genji has an extra vote, Genji betrayed Mitzi and Genji is in a possible majority of Saltwater. Bluebear is a compromise, because the rest of the Saltwaters will willingly send Bluebear down the river to keep the rest of them safe.
Freya: I don't have any working relationship with Bluebear. In a perfect world she gets taken out. [...] I know there is a not-so-hidden Saltwater power structure. I think Ankha is super into that because she keeps asking me if everyone is planning on targeting them. If there's another power structure that features the former Able Sisters, I am not aware of it (but suspect it). I don't know what to do about that yet. This TC is going to be a fluid situation.
Ankha was making a counter push for Velma with Hippeux's backing, all while trying to set up Hippeux for a future fall...
Ankha: Even just now they want to bring me into a 5 person alliance to take out one of the SS people. It just doesn't make sense for me to do, and I know that obviously. But it's convincing Hippeuax to do the same is the problem. At the same time, I want to seperate Bluebear & Genji away from Hippeaux and see that we are all kinda looked at as bottom fiddle to Hipp. [...] I also looped Freya in because they could be a great finalist if I make it there.
Hippeux: I honestly feel like this is the tribal we should take out a big threat in the game like Velma. I fucking love Velma, they are great, I don't know what the status of our relationship is right now, but I'm close to Velma. I think Velma has a good story to win with [...] I'm like "Friends, this is the best chance to do this!" It removes a major threat in this game.
Bluebear: I am very attached to Velma. I might consider them the closest friend I've made in this game so far? But it seems like the Saltwater group wants to go for them. [...] Just because I am friends with a player does not mean they will not vote for me and vice versa. This is really hard for me because overall the part of this game I've valued the most has been the connections I've made <33
Genji: Welp. Ankha created ANOTHER group message: her, me, Hippeux, Bluebear, and Freya. She said it is VITAL to vote together because we all seem to think we have something going with some combo of Rooney/Raymond/Vladimir/Velma (Roonamond & Vlaemir). And they can't possibly be telling the truth to all of us, so if we don't vote one of them out, then we're basically signing our death warrant. I don't know if I 100% agree. But she's got some solid points. And Hippeux already said he voted for Velma. Shit, do I actually have to vote Velma here? One thing's for certain, I need to keep Ankha around because at least she tells me things.
...forcing Velma to choose whether to use the idol.
Bluebear: Ankha wants you out for something you [Velma] apparently said to Hippeux about needing to take out a Saltwater. I wouldn't blame you for saying that, as I know we appear to be a huge threat right now, but I am wondering if you can confirm that is true? Hippeux didn't say anything to me about it which just seems weird.
Velma: ...things may shift and greed may be a very stupid thing. I will decide on the idol in the last 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, villagers were comparing notes on Hippeux playing all sides.
Raymond: If I wanted to make a move against Hippeux here, I... actually think the votes might be available? [...] Bluebear FINALLY talked some game with me this morning, so I may have to see where I can get with that. Is it worth saving her? I doubt it, but I don't want to close it off without thought. [...] *gives the likely boot ammo* haha im in danger
Rooney: Lesson from this round for alls you'se watching at home: Ya don't wanna be the one diving straight in and throwin' out a name. Ya also don't wanna be the one not throwing out any names at all. In the absence of a name, people will assume you're after them or their bestie. Hip may be falling victim to the latter of these?
Raymond: Mm, Genji got proactive about shopping Hippeux. Dang it, I wanted this to be MY move, and now it's going to be his! It's smart of him, though, I think he needs something different to happen today, which... kind of means I also need that.
Freya: My one concern with Hippeaux going is that the likes of Velma/Ray/Rooney feel bonded as a trio. Hopefully they will see one another as big threats and can turn on each other. That's a future problem. But like if Hip stays and BB goes I have a similar problem. Even if Velma goes I think I still have this problem subbing Vlad for Velma.
At Tribal Council, a chaotic round seemed to end with a whimper...
Velma (Voting Booth): Damn man. I sent you a whole treatise on how to move through this game with you and all it took was me suggesting some people you didn't want to do first for you to turn on me. If I'm being worked I'll have questions, if I'm not being worked, I'll gladly give you answers at FTC or in the Jury Pool. still NOT idoling
Raymond (Voting Booth): I choose not to vote. I think I can get away with this?
Freya (Voting Booth): I choose not to vote
...and the unanimous eviction was Hippeux. 8 are left. Who will be voted out next?

Previously on Survivor, after a tumultuous tribal, the villagers were figuring out their paths forward... Rooney: That TC was COOOOOKED. Like, the consensus vote hides the fact that it was BRUTAL. [...] Right now I'm comfortable in me moves. I've navigated each TC with grace and style, on the leading edge of the vote instead of chillin' in the backseat. But there's some power players out there (cough Genji cough) who might need to be brought down a peg!
Velma: My target this upcoming round is Freya, I just...don't think her win equity is high and that's extra dangerous to someone who unfortunately has a reputation like me.
Freya: So I went into the last two days working hard on Bluebear to try and flip her specifically to me. I made the argument that Ankha/Genji, Ray/Rooney, Velma/Vlad are long standing pairs so we should pair up too.[...] I continue to work with Bluebear to try and frame our position as in the middle. Bluebear is helpful in giving me some talking points that I used on Ray and Rooney that I thought didn't pay off. But they are starting to.Before the challenge, two items were used to cast an extra vote against two different villagers... Ankha: Slingshot vote: RAYMOND!
Genji: I use my Slingshot to cast a vote for: Rooney...Raymond beat Freya to the Golden Net... Tom Nook: You won the Golden Net! This net helps you catch Shard Fireflies. Each Shard Firefly cancels 1 vote against the person it's played on....and Bluebear, to prove the Golden Wand had sent Vlad on the first fishing trip, sent the bear on a second trip with her Golden Fishing Rod. Bluebear: Ankha + Genji. Their insistence that I NOT do this makes me wonder if Ankha has the wand. [...] I mean... the fact that the only two people upset by this decision so far are my own "allies" is pretty telling. Eventually, they gave in and stopped resisting it (probably because they realized it looked sus), so I think we are on good terms officially, but suffice to say I will be proceeding with extreme caution. Genji: Why is your relationship with Vlad more important than your relationship with me and Ankha?
Vladimir: Goodbye friends, Vladimir bring back bigger fish and more loaf of bread this time
At the Reward challenge, while the villagers tried to gauge popular opinion, they agreed that Bluebear was the biggest sweetheart, Velma was the genius, and Vladimir was the funniest... Ankha: Bluebear is just so completely fake sometimes it's unreal. I believe that they are a really great person, super sweet, etc. But holy fuck they play like Nicole Franzel.
Velma: At least the rest of the players say I'm going to win the game...and am a huge threat....yeah I'm so getting murdered at 5 or 6, huh.
Vladimir: vladimir pities those not permitted to talk to vladimir...as well as that Freya was the biggest goat and that Ankha will be the final juror... Freya: Oops I'm a bigger goat than even I thought I would be at this stage. Yikes. I voted for myself because I definitely wanted 2 or 3 votes but 5 is a majority of the jury. So that's a little bad. Acting like I don't know what is going on is working too well.
Ankha: I seriously am going to laugh when I go every single tribal council without being immune but not getting voted and then I get 4th place with 2 votes
...and in the end, it was Vladimir walking away with the reward. Tom Nook: The holder of the ladder will, at the end of the game, choose the format of how the Final Tribal Council is structured
Vladimir: Vladimir will designate Bluebear as legacy advantage bequeatheeAt the Immunity Challenge, Rooney knew the most Pointless answers, earning him his second necklace in a row. Rooney: Alrighty-o another immunity! How nuts. I'm not used to beasting challenges!
Genji: Wish there was a dislike button... Or a time machine... Is there any way Rooney would pass off the necklace and thus still be votable? He’s try to protect his buddy Raymond right? Not sure about Velma (and I think she has the idol anyway). [...] Hm. Even if we’re not able to somehow get him to give up the necklace, I could confess to putting a vote down for him b/c I heard he might target me so it was just a precaution.Back at camp, Raymond and Ankha were at odds... Raymond: I do believe that you are a trustworthy player, but you're one who has no reason to trust me. [...] I think there were errors made on both our parts. I think you probably dislike me at this stage and I suppose I can't blame you.
Ankha: I tried to like even engage with Raymond and see how we could have a game relationship and (I’m not be dramatic) he said he doesn’t know how we would have any path in this game together. I was like oh… ok! Thanks for slamming that door shut 😂
Raymond: I decided to push Ankha at everyone and see what happens. A large part of me is hoping they vote Velma out instead so that that's another person I don't have to contemplate betraying and I can still have Ankha to vote out next time....which complicated matters for Genji. Genji: RAYMOND. You don't want to work with my ally, in fact you told her that straight to her FACE even though she was willing to work with you because I TOLD HER she could trust you because I trust you, and now you're only messaging me 1-2 sentences at a time about how my day or your day went, when we used to send HALF A PAGE of paragraphs that took an hour to write???
Rooney: Plot twist. I am now shopping Genji around. It was clear that Raymond and Genji are closer than they let on. [...] Yet again, a vote everyone was hungry for but was waiting for someone else to say it??
Ankha: lmfaooooooooo @ raymond now realizing he needs my vote because the tribe turned on genji. OOPS!And it was coming down to the wire for the critters to find consensus. Freya: WE ARE SUCH A MESS ANKHA AND I ARE DYING FOR A MAJORITY THAT WILL NOT FORM. Genji doesn't want to do Ray. Bluebear doesn't want to do Velma. Also Ray doesn't want to do Genji. Also Bluebear won't vote without Velma. Velma is set on voting Genji or Ankha. Rooney bless him at least tells me we can vote out Ray as long as we don't include him. I'll be honest I selfishly don't want to do Bluebear, but that's okay because Velma won't either. What are we doing with 75 minutes to go? NO IDEA
Velma: Ankha is comign to me trying to form a group of me/vlad/bluebear/ankha since raymond said something about ray and I being threats. I'd trust it if not for messages from vlad where she's just not coming clean about clearly having the golden wand. Like Ankha WILL stab me in the back while lying to my face, makes it hard to keep her around
Raymond: No one's talking to me. For all I know they could be turning it on me. But I would rather go down swinging than be a zero vote finalist.
Freya: Ray proposes we vote BB after some deliberations. Ankha tells BB this to finally try and lock her vote for Ray. BB confronts Ray and then messages me saying we should vote Ankha. WHAT Ankha: if I get my way this is going to be the funniest tribal yet.At Tribal Council, Rooney kept the necklace, and there were votes cast for Genji... Rooney (Voting Booth): Bonza! Me vote is for: Genji. Too powerful. Too connected. Git, or git gotten!
Velma (Voting Booth): Not sure if I trust Ankha to not try and pull something here but if she spends items to vote out Raymond well...not ideal but I'll work it out....as well as Raymond and Bluebear... Freya (Voting Booth): I vote....Raymond. With cautious optimism, you played a great game but this is a move I needed to make. Genji (Voting Booth): I vote: Bluebear. I'm pretty sure your allegiance has changed, and now you're with people who are dangerous to me. And I'm doing my absolute best to survive here. So I can't risk keeping you around anymore. I'm sorry. What we had was real, for a while, I think. We'll find out later, I suppose.
...and two items were played: an idol from Velma and a shard firefly from Raymond... Tom Nook: Velma has played a hidden immunity idol on herself! Any votes cast for Velma will not count. Raymond has played a Shard Firefly on Genji! The first vote for Genji will not count!...but in the end, Raymond was served a blindside by Ankha, Bluebear and Freya. 7 are left. Who will be voted out next?

Previously on Survivor, with the majority of the tribe having not been in on the last vote, relationships were changing accordingly... Rooney: There was a big move last vote. A minority (plus a wand) voted someone out. Let them survive this without repayment, and Freya/Ankha/Bluey are looking good for the win. If that was the move that changed the game, and 5 members of the jury were in the tribe at the time, that's a winner. It'll be all they talk about. That won't do. I haven't thought of a reason to go the other way. But one might exist too. That's just the path through this vote though! Would the wild grouping of me/Vlad/Velma/Genji actually function??
Vladimir: This is very, very bad. Raymond was very close ally but on top of that, we are now having no net or Velma idol or Vladimir watercan. Every method of protection is gone save for immunity necklace. [...] Rooney, Vladimir, Velma all at bottom of tribe right now in Vladimir view. Needing to do some very good maneuvering to turn this around (and hopefully, be winning immunity)
Velma: Right now I'm trying to talk to Genji and honestly, work together. Genji has an item that can be strong and was left out of that vote as well as I was. If we can get past me voting for them it can be promising.
Ankha: I don't really know who the best person to leave is for my game? I would like to say Velma just because they are so gungho on being petty but I think it's probably better for Genji or Freya to go because everyone will want to sit next to them at the end. I don't really care anymore who goes home as long as it's not me. Bluebear: The person I trust the most right now is probably Freya. Ankha is my biggest known ally, and I trust her to an extent, but I feel she would drop me if it meant the best for her game. I hope Velma and I can continue to work together. I didn't tell her about the Raymond vote because I couldn't risk it, and I know she is disappointed that I didn't trust her with the information. ...and while Genji was getting ready to cut Ankha, majority support wasn't necessarily there. Genji: Ok, I still don't believe the story Velma was told, that Ankha and Freya were secretly trying to get me out then just switched to Raymond at the end. No. Ankha was planning that from the beginning. She put that extra vote on Raymond with the wand, and she didn't tell me about it, which means she's been spinning some pretty big lies. I can't take her to the end. [...] I'm not going to be complacent in my own demise. Ankha dies. She has to.
Velma: Furthermore, getting [Ankha] in a place of peril is like really hard. Freya and Bluebear don't want to do it, Rooney feels really close to [Ankha], the only people who might want to at this juncture are Genji, myself and Vlad.
Freya: So I'm in a good spot, but now that I've made my move at 8 I still have to dodge a few TCs. [...] In truth...I think I lose Ankha's jury vote if I cut her now. It has to be at 5 or 4, or I need to fail to save her at 7 or 6. Preferably, I want to cut her, so it's my move. But I cannot do it tonight after how emotional last TC was, that betrayal I think will completely poison her against me if I do it now. It's tough because the appetite to cut her now is high. It's possible the tribe does it without me, or worse, decides to get me out of the way first so they can do it next time. I am walking a tight rope.
Although Ankha would be taking a hit from the slingshot at Tribal Council...
Genji: I use an extra vote to Slingshot Ankha one step closer to the sun. Burn, baby, burn. I might feel bad about this and change it later. We'll see. But I'm doing this now before I chicken out. ...her wand was a defensive boon. Ankha: If it wasn't already obvious, since this is the last round I can use it, I will be using the Golden Watering Can this round. Tom Nook: ...if, after playing this idol, the person who has the idol played on them has the most votes cast against them, then instead of being eliminated outright they will go into a fire-making challenge against the player with the next most votes. At the Immunity Challenge, Rooney continued his winning streak.
Bluebear: can rooney just not
Back at camp, many outcomes seemed possible. Rooney: I have now heard every single name eligible. Hottest ones are Genji, Ankha, Bluebear, then Freya, then Vladimir and Velma. Freya had made two new Final 3 deals and was targeting Genji... Freya: I proposed working together with Rooney and Vlad this round and I'm hoping they will want to vote out Genji. Ankha seems like she will go along with it with a little pushing. I need to show the jury at the end of the game that no, actually I was the center of our strategy this whole time. I have a second backup plan as Velma created a group chat with us and Bluebear. So even though I've worked with Genji for a long time getting him out tonight is essential to my path to the end, because then I have a F3 with Velma and BB and a second Final 3 with Rooney and Vlad.
Velma: Freya is approaching me with an F3 of Me/Her/Bluebear and like, Bluebear might win that, but are my odds really all that better with Vlad and Rooney? In any case if I can make everyone want me at the end, while there are bad reasons for that, I can always spin it.
Vladimir: Bluebear want to go Genji.
Genji: I have heard... that Freya and Ankha are pushing my name. Bastards. And the fact that it's Freya and Ankha who turned against me the most? That lied to me the most? It HURTS the most.
...and Rooney was targeting Bluebear for being in on the last vote but close with others left out of it. Rooney: I've told Vlad to vote Bluey but it might not happen. I want Vlad/Velma/Bluey broken up, ideally with the one I trust the least. Bluey. Sorry, Bluey.
Bluebear: Hm. Who all has told you [Rooney] they're voting for me? If ya don't mind. From my view, I have numbers in my favor. Just wondering if all those numbers are trustworthy.Vladimir, Velma and Genji were considering a split vote plan to eliminate Ankha...
Vladimir: Rooney then come and suggest actually voting in <Freya/Ankha/Bluebear> because otherwise they steamroll. Which is music to Vladimir ear. Until it become clear that in reality,<Freya/Ankha/Bluebear> = <Bluebear> to Rooney, other options he say are not ones he is actually willing to do. So Vladimir, Genji, Velma decide to tell Rooney that we go Bluebear, and secretly go Ankha. This hopefully make vote 4-3-1 Ankha-Genji-Bluebear because of Genji slingshot vote.
...but it was seemingly up in the air as far as where the votes would finally land. Velma: Ugh, this is all gonna change last minute. Genji, Vlad, decide on a vote with me. Pick Ankha, Pick BB, I'll go with either. Both screw up offers I've been given this round, and I'm not going to just hold the company line to accept my place at an FTC where no one will respect that decision except the people I'm losing to.
Bluebear: Like 30 minutes before tribal ended she [Ankha] came up with this story about how Vlad was voting for me so we all needed to switch to him.
Freya: So I am trying to convince Ankha to switch to Genji, but then Genji tells her that Vlad wants her out. This sets Ankha off and she decides to give BB an ultimatum through me (not knowing I wouldn't follow her) BB either votes with us on Vlad or we vote BB. If I knew Vlad was voting Genji for sure I could have stopped here, but I didn't. I suspected he was voting BB with Rooney and Genji. So Ankha comes up with a last minute move to tell Genji that they are voting for him, so we should vote for Vlad. I go along with it. Genji says yes, but I had also privately messaged him about switching to Vlad and he didn't respond. So I knew he was not switching his vote. At this point I just needed Ankha to not vote BB, so i let her think we were switching to Vlad and I would stay on Genji with BB and Velma, and we'd have a 3-3-2 vote (I had figured Genji slingshoted Vlad because we tried to get votes for Vlad earlier). Then I'd have more time to convince Ankha that Genji is against us and she votes Genji on the revote. At this Final 7 Tribal Council, Rooney kept the necklace, and 4 different villagers received votes... Bluebear (Voting Booth): Vote Genji Please please please tell me everyone is telling the truth This will be a close one
Freya (Voting Booth): I vote...Genji This is nuts I have no idea what is about to happen.
Rooney (Voting Booth): 'Ello, possum! Me vote is for: Bluebear Ya have besties in Velma and Vladimir, that's too much for F6.
Vladimir (Voting Booth): Vote Ankha. This is very risky vote. Vladimir is putting all trust in person Vladimir only really spend one tribal council with (Genji). But, drastic time require drastic action.
Genji (Voting Booth): CHANGING MY VOTE. I vote: Vlad. This might be the only time I can do this. It might go terribly wrong. But I’m scared that voting Ankha here will also go wrong. You’re a challenge beast, man. And Ankha’s wand dies here anyway. I’ll see you later, friend.
...and with Ankha's item play, there would be a revote AND a duel. Tom Nook: That's three votes Ankha and two votes each for Genji and Vladimir. Thanks to the Golden Wand Ankha is not automatically going home but will instead enter a duel. We will have a revote between Genji and Vladimir. Whoever gets the most votes will enter the duel with Ankha. You have 24 hours to vote, although if everybody "locks in" then we can get the duel started earlier and possibly keep this game on schedule.
Ankha: This has been the most fun game I’ve ever been a part of, literally everything from merge on has been SO much fun. I will 100% fight to stay but if I don’t just know I’m that bitch. WHOOOHOOOOOO!!! [...] If it isn’t obvious now, I have the wand. Sorry I couldn’t tell any of you (except Velma, who I told today!). I needed something to help me when all of you have bonded for so long. Sorry I lied, it was all for the lore.
Bluebear: WTF! Well, that was unexpected. Here's the vote i THOUGHT was happening: Me/Freya/Ankha/Velma: voting Genji; Vlad/Rooney/Genji: voting me (With Ankha/Vlad possibly voting differently but that was the vote so far as I could guess)
Rooney: Bah, out in the cold. Screw you'se all Like I don't even care, both Genji and Vlad can git in the bin
Although Vladimir expressed willingness to boldly take on Ankha.... Vladimir: Vladimir is going to vote Vladimir here, and ask others to do so. Vladimir is good at challenges and we make big move here; we need to do thing that gives best chance of big move working.
...getting more information from Genji prompted a change of heart. Genji: It was the first actual plan they had told me all day, and I’ll be honest that your challenge abilities scare me 😅 so I thought maybe it was our only chance to vote you. I felt crappy about doing that right after we decided to work together on a vote, but I’m glad you’re understanding about it. Yeah, you're great at challenges. I suck at them. 😂
Vladimir: The hell kind of reasoning is this??? This is high in competition for worst message Vladimir receive, ever. Vladimir initially assume that Ankha make big emotional pitch and lie/deceive Genji about events of phase to paint Vladimir in bad light. Like maybe say that Vladimir had push Genji's name; this would have been untruth but Vladimir not blame Genji for believing it since we are not knowing each other long. But no??? It was actually that Vladimir is challenge threat. So Genji was willing to vote Vladimir for entire phase, despite promises and pitch to Vladimir, just needed persons to come to her with plan. "It was the first actual plan they had told me all day" "literally within 10 minutes of deadline" what?? 'Oh yes this person gave me nothing all day until last minute, this is clearly great reason why I should be voting with them' Vladimir not happy to go into duel against Ankha anymore. Screw this person. In the end, Genji was unanimously voted to duel Ankha... Genji: I could have avoided the whole wand duel thing. Which…. I didn’t realize was a thing. And I should have, because Velma tried to tell me. But I’ll be honest, I, uh… read the duel idol bit about the Watering Can like 12 times when it first got announced and I had no clue what the fuck it meant. So instead of asking the mods a question or six, I did the bunny brain thing and just… moved on. “Nope, I don’t want that item. Fuhgeddabowdit.” [...] I was so set on getting out Ankha that I didn’t think things clearly enough. I didn’t consult my notes enough....and Ankha emerged victorious, sending Genji to the jury. Tom Nook: For the duel, both players were tasked with making as many words as possible out of the letters in the phrase "WATERING CAN". With a commanding victory... Ankha's 78 was more than enough to beat Genji's 55.
6 are left. Who will be voted out next?

Previously on Survivor, the Final 6 were figuring out how to finish strong... Velma: Final 6 with no items in play. Fox only. Final Destintation.
Rooney: Trust is dead, all that matters is if someone will act predictably. Loyalty is dead, all that matters is win chances. I straight up trust nobody and am loyal to none.
Ankha: I am really proud of my own perseverance and just not giving in to being tired or unwilling to put in the work despite how much I’ve lost....and making threat assessments... Bluebear: During these late stages, one also needs to consider what kinds of cases people will make during their jury speeches and who they think they can beat. Freya would probably be easy to beat. She has an alright story but I feel like she has not made as solid of connections with the jury as I have. I could probably beat Rooney...? maybe. Vlad/Velma are likely my biggest "threats" but also the people I want to work with the most.
Freya: I don't know if I'm in the middle of Velma/BB and Rooney/Vlad...or if Velma is in the middle of BB/me and Rooney/Vlad. I think my ideal Final 3 path is taking one of BB/Velma and one of Rooney/Vlad. My challenge this round is keeping my threat level down
Velma: Basically I think the only F3 that can be Bad for me is one where it's me, Vlad and Freya. I think Freya actually has very strong game sense and can answer FTC questions in a way that Bluebear would flub, leading to Vlad and I splitting votes and Freya taking votes an alternative wouldn't have. People might like Bluebear but I think they'll easily accuse them of not owning their game.
Rooney: Either way, Freya and Bluey have strong connections with the Jury. Vladimir probably has the next best, and I can probably argue that my game was better because, although flawed, I showed up. Velma has likely had an under-the-radar game that'll be harder to pitch too. Challenge beast alliance? ...leaving one villager seeming to need the necklace more than the others. Velma: Okay Ankha living might counterintuitively be good. Like if she loses the challenge Bluebear and Rooney are done with their tactics (or they tell me so) and might be willing to go there, same with Vlad and Freya. That can get me to Five.
Bluebear: I worry that if Ankha wins, she will somehow manipulate people to be in her corner AGAIN. Like, she is just that good. She's extremely conniving and manipulative but does not appear to be that way at all, which is extremely dangerous. At the immunity challenge, Freya edged out Ankha for the necklace... Ankha: I think that’s the dagger! 5 mins away from being in final 5
Rooney: That challenge melted my brain...but due to her closeness with Ankha, her fellow villagers were questioning whether she would give it away... Rooney: Ankha is in this game by the skin of her teeth. She will survive only if Freya does an immunity necklace switcheroo
Velma: Freya gets immunity on a potentially big round. Certainly the person I was most uncertain about giving immunity to Ankha.
Freya: Everyone literally ruined the fun immediately. I wasn't going to tell anyone, and then play it for Rooney to make a flashy move. But Velma is like 'you could play it for Ankha or Rooney and decides who goes home" and theothers are like "please don't play it for Ankha!" so now I have to keep it to protect myself from insurance votes.
...leading to the possibility for a split vote. Rooney: Velma has suggested splitting the vote. I am seriously considering it.
Freya: I think it's also important for my game for the tribe not to split their vote to prevent me from playing the necklace on Ankha. If they do that, then I had no control this round. So again I worked on everyone to be like 'don't do it or I'll feel like you don't trust me when I betrayed my two closest allies'. Hopefully it worked. Ankha and Vladimir had something to say to everyone... Vladimir: Vladimir voting Ankha tonight because Ankha winning this game against anyone at FTC. They play smart and active game, and conceal challenge prowess until performing at challenge become absolute necessity.
Ankha: I’ve learned that I’m definitely getting voted out. You guys got 24 hours to jury manage me before I go. Not giving me a chance to stay this round… not off to a great start!...prompting a tough conversation between Ankha and Bluebear. Bluebear: Decided to be honest and tell Ankha why I was voting for her. She has given me very valid reasons to distrust her. I did this very calmly and without harboring judgement/resentment. Anyway it backfired. I asked if we could still be friends because I genuinely value the relationship we built, flaws and all, and she basically said see ya. So. That’s cool.
Ankha: Bluebear telling me they’re voting me out because they didn’t like how I was “emotionally manipulating a new player” is a blow I did t expect for sure [...] Bluebear has had to be guided and led this entire game, this isn’t some “I was a follower and now I’m a leader” thing. She just went from sheeping me to sheeping Vlad. At Tribal Council, Freya kept the necklace... Freya (Voting Booth): This breaks my heart girl, but I can't beat you at FTC.
Rooney (Voting Booth): Continuing the revenge tour for last round, me vote is for Ankha It was a blast to play with ya, no regrets
...and it was Ankha voted out unanimously. 5 are left. Who will be voted out next?

Previously on Survivor, at the Final 5 Immunity Challenge, Rooney succeeded at sitting the analogies test, winning his fourth Golden Immunity Necklace...
Velma: I'm starting to suspect he just has a closet full of those tbh.
Rooney: Mate I'm tellin' ya now there ain't nothin' in me closet no more
...and some villagers were disappointed by the immunity result.
Velma: Rip. I don't know why I can't seem to do well on these latest ones, but Rooney is immune...again. And I wasn't even close. Well I am so very very fucked here. I HAVE to vote against one of my F3 deals and I might not make it out.
Bluebear: Rooney is who I wanted to vote for this round but of course he had to be super smart and get immunity... AGAIN. I really don't foresee him giving away the necklace UNLESS he wanted to make a big move for the jury. That would be very difficult to predict and near impossible to plan for. Regardless of the lack of big moves, he probably has a strong pull with the jury based on challenge success alone.
Freya: I wanted to win bahhh. I also wanted Rooney to not win so that he would always be the vote out option. BAAAAAHHH
Back at camp, Freya was under fire as a wolf in goat's clothing...
Vladimir: There seem to be two mind about Freya in game. There is some worry that she is FTC threat, because she is last survivor of underdog tribe and navigated way to end. Velma is of this opinion - she also say that Freya has strong tactical mind and shows this in conversation, Vladimir agree with that part. Other mind about Freya is that she is somewhat goat, because most message from her are one liner and she was not really making own moves until recent time. Vladimir lean this way. But either way, Vladimir think correct vote is Freya here. If she is goat, then her being in F3 is bad for Vladimir because it meaning Vladimir quite likely to be voted out if not winning immunity. And if she is not goat, then if she is winning immunity, that just add to amazing FTC story for her.
Rooney: Freya's ascendancy is real, as much as she talks down her chances and claims she's pissed off the jury. Well, I am manifesting it to be real; I knew that to give myself a chance, I needed to make sure there weren't too many weaker players left at this stage of the game. So, I was pushing Freya to play boldly, so that she would make a big move, and thus be more likely to get voted out. Anyways, now it's time for that.
...but she wouldn't go down without a fight...
Freya: Anyway I hope i don't over play this card but I think I need to sell to the rest of them that my jury management has been atrocious, so even if they think Freya has made some moves I'm hoping they think the jury won't vote me for it. [...] I'm making all the promises to survive this vote but it is not looking good gang. [...] First I promised BB my vote if she stuck with me and they voted out. [...] I promised Velma a route to 3. [...] I promised Rooney that I would give him immunity if I won, not tell anyone I would do this, and vote with him to secure us Final 3.
...and Velma and Bluebear were considering taking out Vladimir instead.
Velma: I honestly think Me/Freya/BB is my ideal with Me/Vlad/Rooney as my other. It's why I hated this round, cause there is no overlap in those F3s aside from me, so here, I was going to be picking a side. Rooney has been honest about voting one of Freya/BB with them cause he has immune. I have been less honest in that I have mentioned my doubts about going to F4 with them and Rooney [...] All I know is that if I go in with either side, I'm in all the way, and Rooney and Vlad are much more likely to win FIC than BB and Freya.
Bluebear: Vlad says he really wants me at the end with him and I believe him. I'd be sad to vote for him, but not heartbroken. I don't know that he has an incredibly compelling jury speech but his charm and charisma would make up for it and then some. Though he doesn't have a ton of risky moves he can point to, he might be the biggest threat right now regarding jury.
At Tribal Council, Rooney kept the necklace, and Tom Nook asked the villagers if they were prepared for both a F2 and a F3...
Bluebear: F2??? uhhhhh Vladimir: If it is F2... We deal with that when we are getting there.
...and although Bluebear voted with Freya, the other three votes sent her to the jury.
Freya: Love you all, but know I'm coming to destroy your games during jury questioning! Later!
4 are left. Who will be voted out next?

Previously on Survivor, the Final 4 were speculating about the jury.
Bluebear: I started this game hoping to make it a few rounds in before getting voted out, and my goal was to make a few friends along the way. Somehow, I've made too many friends and now no one wants me in their F3.
Velma: Because I plan on going to the end with Vlad and Rooney, I realize I have no hard-locked votes. [...] Hippeux I actually feel confident I can have but maybe my last minute message about my idol made him resent me. [...] Ankha is going to hate us all, but will vote for the best game.
Rooney: None of us were spectacular big-move players, but rather very deliberate, fine-tuned players who acted carefully and handled surprises with calm. We're all kinda similar, so it'll come down to FTC prowess imo.
At the Immunity Challenge, the winner edged out second place by about two minutes...
Rooney: I'm just watchin' people start the challenge and over-analysing how long they might be taking, for no clear benefit tbh except maybe getting a 2-hour advance sense of how much I need to totally throw someone under the bus to get to the end.
Vladimir: Vladimir 99% sure that if Bluebear winning immunity, Vladimir will go home. [...] Vladimir hope and pray that whatever frogfinding is being, it is not thing strongly in Bluebear wheelhouse.
Velma: I do find it funny to have an FIC puzzle just stall me so much I don't feel I have a chance. Some form of cosmic justice for past sins.
...and it was Bluebear getting the necklace over Vladimir.
Bluebear: So, uh........ kinda wasn't expecting this to happen so I have no plan or strategy in place. ?!
Vladimir: 2 minute. Vladimir constantly get close but not close enough to immunity, but this is first time it is really hurting.
Rooney: I have... wet eyes for some reason 😢 Bluey just pulled off a massive win that could win her the game.
Back at camp, critters were starting to scramble, and Rooney wanted to avoid the Tiebreaker challenge...
Rooney: Well, the most I can offer ya [Bluebear] really, is this: that wherever you vote, I vote. That gives the other two a choice - send themselves into a tiebreaker with me (which, hopefully, is a bit too scary given the threats about how un-fun it will be) OR they vote each other.
Bluebear: If I HAD to pick an ideal top three, it's probably me/Rooney/Velma. Just because Vlad is so charming that I think he would win people over to his side pretty easily.
...but Velma was more concerned with staying loyal to Vladimir...
Velma: I am making a devil deal. Vlad and I are locking in on Rooney and not telling the others. [...] I don't want to vote out Vlad with my last vote, I offered him an F2 early on and breaking that here instead of any of the other opportunities I had seems silly. I'll shoot for us sitting at the end. And like previous moves of mine, it might be best if it doesn't work. If Vlad loses then I have his jury vote as opposed to Rooney who might be very spiteful of being left out again. A weird paradox of being me I suppose.
...leading to the others considering making a big, final move.
Rooney: Time for maybe one last big move. I have set up Velma and Bluey to believe that I'm dead-set on voting Vladimir. Velma has been partial to triggering fire-making. So, Vladimir will pitch to Velma that they both vote me; instead, Vladimir and I both vote Velma. It becomes a 2-1-1 vote. Vladimir and I steal the thunder of the final immunity challenge just a little bit. Bluey appears not really in control.
Bluebear: Here are my options the way I see it: [...] Vote for Vlad and give Rooney the necklace. (CRAZY I KNOW) So, Rooney mentioned that Velma seemed keen on possibly splitting the vote to force the tiebreaker challenge. She didn't mention this to me, so part of me is wondering if Velma/Vlad are planning to vote for Rooney to split the vote. It gives me another big move I can mention in my speech and it keeps Rooney safe, too. I doubt I'm in any danger because no one would expect me to give immunity away in the last round. AND I'd be the only immunity winner to give away the necklace.
Vladimir: Well. Now problem is that Vladimir is commit to too many plan. Vladimir have deal with Rooney to go for Velma and with Velma to go for Rooney. And whichever Vladimir break, Vladimir probably lose jury vote of player Vladimir send home. Was this being worth it? Probably. Vladimir dead here if not looking for options, only problem is found too many options. And they might be being lies anyway...Vlad have really stupid idea that Vladimir kind of wanting to do. If Vladimir is voting Bluebear and everyone is telling truth, then vote is 1-1-1-1 and everybody except immunity necklace is tied. And could final juror really blame Vladimir for doing hilarious thing like this?
At Tribal Council, Bluebear kept the necklace, and Rooney and Velma cross-voted...
Velma (Voting Booth): Vote: Rooney. I would have been fine voting Vlad on previous rounds, but not here, not on the eve of us going to the end. He may feel different though, I get if he does.
Rooney (Voting Booth): Crikey! Me vote is for: Velma. This is a wild swing to make one last big move. Hope it pays off.
...but so did Bluebear and Vladimir, leading to an unexpected revote.
Velma: All that hemming and hawing only for Vlad to go non-committal like an absolute clown. I accept BB's vote, I mean I mechanically have to. We need to have an opposite of Mashterstroke, Vlad could have chosen what he wanted and instead might have chosen to die instead.
Vladimir: Vladimir think that revote is skip in F4 situation and we would be going straight to tiebreak challenge. This was stupid assumption for Vladimir to be making, since it is saying right there in rules that F4 tiebreak challenge replace rocks, not revote. But it was assumption Vladimir make and waking up to 'as rules state, Bluebear will now cast sole revote' was soul crushing thing to read. Vladimir know that if Vladimir not do this, Vladimir was 100% safe, now Vladimir is 99% going home by own doing. [...] Can you be imagining how awesome move would have been if Bluebear chose to idol someone though
In the end, Bluebear voted out Vladimir. Three are left. Who will be voted the Sole Survivor?

Previously on Survivor, the Final 3 gave their opening speeches.
Bluebear: The entirety of the F4 group wanted me out. But I still got here. I couldn't have done it without all of my honest social connections and my willingness to grow as a player. A vote for me is a vote for growth, authenticity, and the underdog.
Rooney: Well, it’s down ta one simple word: Untouchable. [...] I had an untouchable social game, drawing ya all in close and being held close to ya hearts. I had an untouchable challenge game, winning four out of seven individual immunities. I had an almost untouchable record in terms of votes received, having had only one vote pre-merge and one vote post-merge count against me
Velma: You may know me from being voted "most strategic", "biggest threat" and "player who is for sure going to win". I'm here to remind you why. [...] I think when you lay down what I did each round, what I avoided and what I accomplished, not many people are capable of walking the path I walked without it blowing up in their faces.
During jury questioning, Ankha's question about predicting the votes was a challenge for the finalists to answer.
Rooney: To take a classic jury cliche "gotcha" question but add an asterisk at the end with "*but honestly it's not a gotcha this time" just doesn't cut it. [...] I don't feel as if I'm coming into this FTC as a favourite, but nobody's voting at the very start of this, they vote at the end. I'm not going to box any of you in; you're the jurors, not me.
Vladimir: Rooney, particularly to you, Ankha is person who really respect you in jury conversation. Vladimir is not thinking this is meant as 'gotcha' question.
Velma: That's the thing. The first time I answered the question was me seriously answering it. I know I didn't attached names but I focused on what you said you wanted, jury awareness. [...] Ankha, please for the love of God give me specifics on what scenario we are imagining all the votes in.
Bluebear was asked to defend her strategic game, including her decisions to turn against the Saltwater Shores critters that protected her in the premerge...
Bluebear: Well, the argument that I followed Ankha the entire way is completely moot when we’re talking about Hippeux at F8. [...] We hesitated to tell Ankha for a bit because we weren’t sure how she would respond to it. Truly, Genji and I were in control of that vote.
Bluebear: You [Hippeux] agreed your game the round you left had been somewhat fishy. Genji had already voted for me in a previous round and showed me she probably wouldn’t work together with me again. I felt I couldn’t trust Ankha anymore, but even if I hadn’t voted for her there, she still would have gone home. [...] Obviously, to get here, I’m going to have to say goodbye to friends and allies. I tried to do it as respectfully as I could. I failed in that with Ankha, which I’ve already addressed to her personally, but I really didn’t think I did dirty by you or Genji.
...and showed humility in her responses.
Bluebear: First of all, I am deeply sorry for what I said to you [Ankha]. I handled the entire situation very poorly and without tact. [...] It’s my deepest regret about this game. You were my longest-running and strongest alliance and I ruined it. [...] I wish there was a better way for me to convey the fact that this isn’t about jury management for me. Place your vote wherever you want; this isn’t about that. This is about me, coming to you humbly, trying to right my wrongs.
Bluebear: In the round where Ray went home, I told Vlad that you [Genji] had used your extra firefly vote on Rooney. Truly, that was just a dumb mistake and not "hm what information can I betray?" In my mind, Vlad wasn't in the TC anyway, and the vote against Rooney wouldn't count. In the moment, it just didn't seem that important to keep hidden. In retrospect, yeah, it would have been better if it were a secret. That's on me.
Velma was asked to defend her move of targeting Ankha the round she was suspected to have a duel idol and her wanting to bring Vladimir to the end...
Velma: I was very straightforward with Genji that they may have to duel Ankha [...] 1. Ankha had a relatively poor track record in challenges and could lose the duel 2. It wasn't like I was going to be the one facing her, I took far too many steps to ensure that, so there'd always be room to play further.
Velma: I couldn't let my potential last act in the game being betraying an F2 that could be so beautiful to make the end together. [...] while Vlad was definitely a worse matchup for me, and he'd probably start with more leans, by the end I could overcome him. There were several rounds where he was completely irrelevant and the other rounds placed him in extreme danger, I could work with that.
...and also explained how the Money Rock Island idol hunt was solved.
Velma: Word 5: This was the last one that we found (the 6th is farmer which is in morse code on Tom Nook's avatar in the Meet the Mods post but Mitzi told me that). Basically if you stare at the image in your voting booth long enough you learn it is NOT an image, but rather a gif. And a word flashes across it for a second. After getting the right frame of the gif and subtracting it from the normal frame in a photo editor, you get the word "platform". This was a lightbulb moment that was pure elation (the seeing the gif, not the tedious extracting of platform).
Rooney was asked to defend his social awareness and strategic decisions not to use the Golden Immunity Necklace as an idol...
Rooney: In the votes that Raymond and Genji went [...] I demonstrated the awareness and openness in the aftermath that made up for the moments themselves. [...] I made sure not to get shut out of the games of people I'd just gone against. And ya know what? It paid off.
Rooney: There was never an obvious 50/50 split in the rounds I had the necklace, so any use of it would have said to everyone that a) Rooney will be dangerous next time he wins the necklace, so vote him out and b) Rooney voted in the minority, so vote him out. Furthermore, I was hoping that in at least being predictable with the necklace, others wouldn't fear that I would do the UNO Reverse on them. And, y'know, in some ways that worked - I never got targeted in the rounds I lacked the necklace.
...and after experiencing struggles, expressed remorse and gratitude.
Rooney: If this is you [Freya] calling me a goat, then good on you for expressing that. Let the others have their turn of it if they want to. I can cop being told "you're a goat, Rooney" eight times individually, I'm good. But saying "everyone I've spoken to thinks ya a goat" is just schoolyard BS and I'm not wasting any more time thinking about it.
Rooney: This FTC made me cry. Multiple times. But, what made me cry the most was, when I was totally melting down at the start of FTC, Bluebear reaching out to me and offering me encouragement. Like, I was visibly crying in public through that. These are the best two co-finalists I could ever wish for.
Genji asked about what one thing the finalists would change if they could rewind...
Bluebear: Thinking about changing one small thing makes my head spin with how many other changes I would have to make due to the butterfly effect lol. That, and, if I change anything, I don't think my story would be nearly as compelling. My game is what it is - flaws and all.
Rooney: My early FTC answers. But actually. They don't live up to the standard I hold myself to. For a moment, I forgot that this is a community [...] with whom I will surely interact with again and who are an amazing bunch of people.
Velma: I would have shortened my explanation to Ankha during the whole revote period a whole hell of a lot. I thought she'd value a detailed rundown of the round and why I felt I had to do it, but with the wounds so fresh and my explanation not being as comforting as it could have, I got a tongue lashing instead.
...and this led to a tough conversation between Velma and Ankha.
Ankha: A tongue lashing? I was honestly on board with a lot of what you said during this FTC but this weird underlying tone that you’re making me out as this random villain is bizarre. [...] As I said before to you privately and publicly, I do think you were focused on making sure I looked bad and had less control once the merge hit, than you caring about who you sat to at the end of the game.
Velma: It's not that I never wanted to work with you Ankha, I tried, and based upon what I heard through back channels and suspected you did with the wand, you had thrown away all the opportunities to do that. [...] As for tongue lashing, perhaps that was a bit extreme, but it certainly was a dressing down that was far more critical than any other feedback I'd gotten during the game. [...] Calling me mentioning how people really liked you and that it would be hard to vote you out "Obsessive and weird behavior." Which I think cuts a bit closer to personal than just game speak.
The Final Tribal Council was closed out with some short and sweet speeches.
Velma: The biggest issue with Rooney’s game is lack of influence. [...] in the end it’s in the shadow of my own. [...] I find it hard to see a consistent thread through BB's answers, a threat but not a threat, in control but a name constantly out there, I just don't know what is certain. [...] BB has an interesting story and good personality, but is she really the whole enchilada? [...] Survivor is a game about connections and bonds. Rooney and BB were able to gain connections, but I utilized mine best. [...] Lastly, this was the unlucky version of my game, TWO top allies went out premerge and Canberra had to medevac. I was labeled the biggest threat and yet still I am here, and I didn’t need immunity, a fishing pole or even the idol I had to do it.
Rooney: I came into this Final Tribal Council just a smidge exhausted by a bruising game full of big swings, big misses, crushing results, and a few things just not going my way. But, throughout this FTC experience, I have come to a place where I am proud of my game, whatever the result. I knew I’d played a challenge game better than I ever could have wildly imagined. I knew I’d showed up to every TC with passion and intention. I know I’d managed to stay safe from votes despite being a challenge threat. [...] Finally, Ankha, Freya and Hippeux, your early FTC questions and my response to them revealed that I have much to learn about myself and the way I react under pressure, whether it be self-induced or external. I thank you for your patience with me during FTC, and look forward to learning a bit more about that post-game and applying what I have learned in the next FTC (which will definitely happen again soon!).
Bluebear: [...] I played a strong strategic game. Some might say my game was all social and no strategy, but I think they go hand-in-hand. I got close to many players but didn’t make a lot of end-game promises. This allowed me to be in the know on almost every single vote I was a part of, giving me a great voting record - but the fact that I did not make any promises also kept me from being labeled as untrustworthy for promising too many things to too many people. Another strategic move includes both gaining and knowing when to use the fishing rod. Some players in the past have found themselves ousted for possessing a powerful item. I used mine to build trust when I sent Vlad away, rather than let it make me a target. I also knew exactly when I was in the most danger and used it to protect myself, despite urging from allies not to do so. [...] I never strayed from who I am - including in writing this speech where it would be natural to downplay my opponent's games.
In the end, the jury votes were soon to be revealed live on Discord. Who will be voted the Sole Survivor?
Genji: And this was quite the FTC. I don't think it was a straight-forward decision for any of us.
Vladimir: All three of finalist are being deserve of win. This is being tough decision.
Freya: Not sure what I'm going to do yet. I might end up where I started and even if I do, know it hasn't been an easy decision.
Hippeux: I'm surprisingly torn
Shep: All 3 of the finalists had their strengths and weaknesses, so this wasn't a clearcut decision by any means
Raymond: It was tough for me to find a vote here. You are all compelling in your own ways.
Ankha: Above everything else I do think this group as a whole really is very special. We had some amazing social, strategic and physical players and it was an honor to be a part of this game.

Previously on Survivor, all of our finalists received votes from the jury...
Shep: I just connect the most with Rooney's game.
Freya: I vote....Bluebear! You are strong, girl! I hope the rest of the jury sees it too, but no matter what you earned this vote!
Hippeux: Velma, You correctly guess I would vote for you to win. I was impressed with your game so much
...but only two finalists received multiple.
Ankha: Ultimately, I am voting for the player I believe had the best journey, and their story deserves a happy ending. They shouldn’t have let you have an opportunity to win final immunity. My vote is for Bluebear to win.
Vladimir: Vote is being base on best answer to questions at FTC. Vote is for pink goat, Velma.
Genji: You are exactly the type of player and person that I wish would be given the chance to win. So whether you do or not, my vote is yours. I VOTE BLUEBEAR.
Raymond: I have been in their shoes, fallen short when I shouldn't have, and I wouldn't feel right being THE REASON they did not win, because deep down I know that they deserve it. Vote: Velma
Canberra's change in vote was decisive in crowning the winner.
Canberra: Voting for Bluebear to win. I found you super sweet and personable in our brief time and you did really good for this being your first game and didn't let the jury push you down too much.
In the end, Bluebear won Survivor: Animal Crossing. Thanks for playing or watching...until next time!
